Mizunokuni is a fractured short-wave transmission from a broken transistor. Gr◯un土 and Kabamix are at the dial scanning through radio static, ambient house noodlings, distant chants and healing music across 60 minutes of continuous programming.

Filtered through the natural sounds of the Osaka mountains, this is a patchwork nippon re-imagining of the 90s ambient tech movement; drawing on a rich history of experimental and ambient thinking in Japan.

Gr◯un土 & Kabamix are both figures on the local scene in Osaka. Kabamix is a sound designer, engineer and field recorder who counts Mixmaster Morris and Haruomi Hosono as clients and collaborators. Gr◯un土 a.k.a DJ GROUND started as a DJ from the end of his teenage years and has played all over Japan. He organizes and DJ's at a music festival called (ChillMountain) in the mountains surrounding Osaka, and has hosted the festival for over 10 years.

["MIZUNOKUNI" means "Water Land" as Osaka Japan.
