Do you know Vincent Grimaldi?
I don't. I never met him.
He contacted us through this website, "you should listen to my music, here's a link", "I also take photographs, can I do the cover?".
He probably wasn't that pushy, but we like when things happen naturally, so basically, this is everything that we hate. I usually don't read such emails, and if I do, don't even go through the pain of putting them in the trash.
Go figure.

The GRM Découvertes 2020 contest turned out to be a very interesting market place for SYE: Athoh won second prize (see SCUM TAPES 090) and Vincent Grimaldi won third prize.
This album does not include the piece that brought him fame. We were simply won over by the sheer beauty of Vacoa, and blessed to be offered the chance to release it: asking or requesting anything could have broken the spell.
A big challenge for me, but sometimes, I can keep my mouth shut.
