タイガーズマインドは、クラシック、ジャズ、ノイズ、電子音楽からの影響を元に、即興で音世界をビルド／アンビルドするちょっと風変わりなユニットだ。

デンマーク出身ノルウェー在住のマルチ奏者＆コンポーザーのNiklas Adam、同じくデンマーク出身ノルウェー在住のサックス奏者Danielle Dahl、デンマーク人ドラマーThomas Eilerによるインプロヴィゼイションバンド。

彼らは、オーストリア、デンマーク、ノルウェー、ドイツ、日本を巡り、Jazzjuice Festival、Aarhus Jazzfestivalなどにも参加。そして、Margaret Unknown、河野円、Travis LaPlante、山内桂、mattinとの共演を果たした。またメンバー個人として、Jim Denley、Frisk Frugt、中村としまる、Wadada Leo Smith等々と共演した。

Danielle Dahl:
Norwegian saxophone player and composer based in Copenhagen. Danielle is interested in the extremes of sonic possibilities on the acoustic saxophone and has a performative approach to music making that is refreshing and surprising. Among many others she has worked with Paul Lovens, mattin, Daniel Lercher and Toshimaru Nakamura. She also plays in Bravura in the face of grief, Lumpy Space Princess and F.E. Denning Descension Orchestra.

Thomas Eiler:
Well known name on the Danish jazz / improv scene, both as a sideman and contractor for own projects. He is 1/4 of the common man's avantgarde group Svin, 1/2 of Bad Astma with Maria Bertel of Selvhenter and has worked with Wadada Leo Smith, Frisk Frugt and many others.

Niklas Adam:
Danish multi-instrumentalist and composer living in Norway. Works in the field between fineart and music. Adam uses the mixer and other analog devices to generate electronic sounds with an inherent acoustic or human nature and thus plays on the tension between the physical and the intangible.
