デッドストック発掘!!! 今聴いても新鮮アイテム！ コリアンストリートミュージックの伝説Shisha、K.O.Dの片割れ、ソウルのサウンドシステム職人Magazine Kingの1stアルバム!! ソウルのアンダーグラウンドシーンのPongJJackにインスパイアされ、古いキーボード、オルガン、ドラム、ベースを使いサイケデリックなLo-Fi（ローファイ）スタイルを確立したサウンド。本作はそのLo-Fiなサウンドをあえてイギリスで1、2を争う有名スタジオに持ち込み、Dennis Bovellを始め数々の作品のエンジニアを務めるスタジオを代表する腕利きエンジニア、Sonnyにミックスを依頼。そしてマスタリングは別のスタジオに持ち込み、Missy Elliotをはじめ、Eminem、Norah Jonesなどの作品を手掛けるDanny Kingが仕上げた。結果、ある青年の自宅録音を超一流の職人達に手による仕事へと発展させる形の洗練されたユニークな作品となった。コリアン・ダブというこれまでにないジャンルを、親友でもあるYoonkeeの作品と共に担う作品である。 With a loose theme based around a lone spy aspiring to uncover a devious deed, the only thing more mysterious than the sounds on offer here is the creator himself. Friend of fellow Korean dubsmith Yoonkee, Magazine King sets himself apart from the crowd by his trademark "psychedelic lo-fi" sound and his penchant for devising and building his own instruments to perform live.
