Marefumi Komura / END LOOP WINK
2024年8月22日から9月28日まで、AKIO NAGASAWA GALLERY AOYAMAにて開催されている画家・小村希史の個展「wink」のために制作された音源を収録したカセット作品。 2006年に初めて制作された曲の最後の音をループさせる「end loop」のアイデアを引き継ぎ、今回のカセットテープ「End Loop wink」も同じ手法を採用しています。「wink」というテーマで構成され、パチパチ弾けるノイズ音を意識的に使い、傘に当たる雨音、工事現場の音、パソコンのクリック音、さらには現在も世界で鳴り響く銃声など、さまざまなイメージを呼び起こす試みがなされています。このカセットテープは2024年の個展「wink」のために制作されました。 "end loop wink" is a continuation of the technique used in "end loop", a cassette tape released in 2006. "end loop" was composed of minimal looping pieces, based on the last fade out/note of pre-existing recorded music. The theme "wink" applies the same techniques as "end loop" to evoke a variety of images such as: the sound of rain hitting umbrellas, construction sites, crackling noises, computer clicks, or even, the sound of gunshots still ringing around the world today.
