Hakobune, a.k.a. Takahiro Yorifuji, has been making ambient guitar music since 2007. His prolific output includes over 50 releases on labels such as Sacred Phases, Patient Sounds, Constellation Tatsu, Inner Islands etc...

On "Torch," Takahiro has refined his craft even further, taking his detuned and layered ambience into the abyss. The subtlety and patience emitted, produce two tracks that slide slowly toward the light. "Torch" lets the darkness steep with an ease that keeps us hopeful but with little sentiment.
