ご存知NYパンクの異端、SUICIDEからアラン・ヴェガの凶暴なR&R要素を抜くとこうなります…感が際立っている相方のマーティン・レヴが1985年に仏New Rose Recordsからリリースした2ndソロアルバムが2019年にbureau bからリイシューされています!!! ここでは、まだSUICIDEの残り香が漂うナンバーから、ミュージックコンクレートの領域にまで突入しているもの、郊外のショッピングモールでかかっていそうな（スタッフのDJエプロン談）空洞化したインストナンバーまで、涅槃アルバム「STRANGEWORLD」へ辿り着くまでの一歩を踏み出したような作品！（笑） Martin Rev is best known as one half of the seminal duo Suicide (with Alan Vega). Listening to his solo albums, it becomes clear that Rev was responsible for the group's music.
